Посольство Литовської Республіки в Україні запрошує подавати проекти заявок щодо розвитку співпраці на виконання програми Розвитку співпраці та допомоги демократії на 2017 рік.

The Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid Commission of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania in the protocol No. 11 dated May 5, 2017, took the decision to approve the following projects: 

1. „Provision of Open Distance Learning Courses in Ukrainian Studies for Children from Post-Conflict Regions and Temporarily Occupied Territories in Ukraine“. Project Implementer: Mariupol State University

2. „Summer Diversity Camp“. Project Implementer: NGO „New Donbas“.

3. „Ensuring summer occupation of teenagers and youth through patriotic education in Lithuania“. Project Implementer: Lithuanian Riflemen Union

4. „The bridge“ (Small-scale infrastructural renovations of the kindergarten in Mariupol). Project Implementer: International support community „Way to the dream“

5. „Assurance of the quality of non-formal education as a condition for children and youth life skills development“. Project Implementer: The Lithuanian Children and Youth Centre

6. „Social rehabilitation of widows and families of the victims, ATO veterans and their families by establishing a social enterprise and training center“. Project Implementer NGO „Ukrainian Women‘s Guard“

7. „Sharing experience in preserving the ethnographical heritage“. Project Implementer: Association of Lithuanian folk habits, cuisine and crafts „Šventė visiems“

8. „The Heritage of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania on the territory of Ukraine in historical retrospect“. Project Implementer: Dmytro Vashchuk

9. „Transfer of modern environmental technologies to the regions of Ukraine“. Project Implementer: Public organization „Open Europe“

CALL TO SUBMIT APPLICATIONS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROJECTS OF DEVELOPMENT COOPERATION

Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to Ukraine calls to submit applications for the implementation of the projects of Development Cooperation and Democracy Promotion Programme in 2017.

Financing will be provided for projects that are in lines with the National Development Cooperation Action Plan guidelines, adopted by the Resolution No. 937 of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania on 21st September 2016.

Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania calls for submission of APPLICATIONS FOR PROJECTS for the implementation of the following concepts (up to 90 thousand EUR for all projects):

Improvement of educational process and promotion of children and youth activities in post-conflict areas of Ukraine
Support for the participants of the anti-terrorist operation
Preservation of historical and cultural heritage and promotion of democratic values
Sharing of good practices in the area of energy efficiency
Sharing of good practices in the area of environmental protection
Sharing of good practices in the area of medical services

Submitted applications for projects shall conform to the EU, Lithuanian and country, which is partner in the implementation of the project, multilateral and (or) bilateral strategic agreements, and (or) development strategies of the partner country.

Applications for a project shall contain at least one partner in Ukraine. A partner is not obligatory, when the project is being submitted by a subject of Ukraine or by an international organization.

Information on the submission of Project Application, selection procedure, implementation as well as any other project-related information is available in the Description of Procedure for the Implementation of Development Cooperation Activities by State and Municipal Institutions and Agencies, approved by Resolution No 278 of the 26 March 2014 of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania and the Description of Procedure of the Implementation of the Development Cooperation and Democracy Promotion Programme, established by Order No. V-62 of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania on 17th April 2014.

Lithuanian and foreign legal persons, other organizations, their subdivisions, and natural persons are invited to submit applications for projects, in Lithuanian or English, according to the established forms (Project application and Project estimate), together with required attachments.

After being filled, signed and scanned, applications for projects together with scanned attachments shall be sent by e-mail amb.ua@mfa.lt or filled and scanned applications for projects together with attachments shall be sent by registered post or delivered to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania at the following address: Embassy of Lithuania in Ukraine, Buslivska 21, 01901 Kyiv.

Applications for projects will be accepted till March 30, 2017 (incl.). The Embassy reserves the right to revise the deadline for the acceptance of applications for projects.
